HUAWEI CLOUD Exchange Rate Policy for 2022
HUAWEI CLOUD Brazil releases now Exchange Rate Policy for 2022, valid from January 1st to December 31st for all Brazilian Enterprise customers.
Understand in details how the policy will be:
- In Q1/2022, HUAWEI CLOUD Brazil will set the Reference Exchange Rate (RER) at 4.7, which is 1 USD = 4.7 BRL*(with conditions). This Reference Exchange Rate (RER) will be used for the corresponding billing cycles and processes.
- Starting from Q2/2022, HUAWEI CLOUD Brazil will increase the Reference Exchange Rate (RER) (USD to BRL) by 5% per quarter.

Exchange Rate (PTAX) Reference Date: the reference date selection for exchange rates (USD to BRL) will be determined on the last business day prior to billing issue, considering the Sales exchange rates published by the Central Bank of Brazil.

Applicable Conditions for each billing cycle:
- PTAX < Reference Exchange Rate (RER) of On-going Quarter: The PTAX exchange rate will be applied for that specific billing cycle;
- Reference Exchange Rate (RER) of On-going Quarter ≤ PTAX ≤ 6.5BRL: the Reference Exchange Rate(RER) will be applied for that specific billing cycle;
- PTAX ＞ 6.5BRL: the PTAX with a 15% (Off) discount will be applied for that specific billing cycle.
Observations:
*1. Huawei reserves the right to review, explain, and update the above commercial conditions granted on the exchange rate in case of any significant changes, upon prior notice to the customers
*2. In case of the customer or partner has special commercial terms, billing and invoice will be executed as the signed contract / agreement / order form.
