Eco-Friendliness & Energy Conservation

With the help of our key partners in the industry, HUAWEI CLOUD provides a green and energy-efficient solution that makes it easier for you to reduce the amount of resources you waste. It provides energy consumption management and helps build smart and green digital campuses.
Business Challenges
  • Difficult Energy Consumption Management and Excessive Waste

In terms of lighting, work and rest times are not taken into account, nor is it really determined whether lighting is needed or not. Energy consumption is not controlled by time or area. What's more, abnormal running and low device utilization cannot be monitored effectively.

  • Auto Collection of Energy Consumption Data Unavailable

Collecting energy consumption data requires multiple terminals, such as sensors, controllers, and meters. Various protocols are used and the network environment is complex. Automatic data collection and accurate statistics are unavailable.

  • Hard to Accurately Identify Energy Conservation Phases

Phases in which to save energy, measures that can be taken to save energy, and how much energy to save are all hard to identify. Periodic and systematic analysis and prediction are not supported.

Description

Meters and smart switches are connected to the energy consumption management subsystem on the cloud through the IoT gateway to report data and deliver control policies. ROMA collects data from the energy consumption management subsystem and sends the data to the IOC's Data Lake Factory (DLF), which uses its big data engine to analyze and display the big data for energy consumption.

Highlights

  • Compatible: Various meters and smart switches are connected to the energy consumption management subsystem on the cloud through the IoT gateway to enable real-time data collection and the one-click delivery of control policies on the cloud.
  • Intelligent energy consumption analysis and diagnosis: Energy consumption management on the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) is used to analyze the collected data, identify energy conservation phases, and provide conservation suggestions.
  • Visualized information: The DLF service provides data integration and models to support data analysis and display.
Solution Advantages
  • Visualized Data

Huawei IOC displays the real-time energy consumption of a campus and provides big data analysis and multi-dimensional reports to help operators and administrators fully control energy consumption.

  • Accurate Energy Conservation Through Big Data Analysis

The intelligent analysis and diagnosis models and algorithms for energy big data can be used to accurately identify energy conservation phases and provide optimization suggestions.

  • One-Click Delivery of Energy Conservation Policies

The energy consumption management subsystem allows you to deliver energy conservation policies in just a few clicks and improve energy consumption management.

Functions
  • ROMA
Sends the data received from the energy consumption management subsystem to the IOC DLF in real time. The IOC then displays reports and analyzes big data.
  • IOC
Provides multi-dimensional analysis reports and provides suggestions on how to improve energy conservation.
  • DLF
Serves as a collaborative one-stop big data development platform that enables operations such as data modeling, data integration, script development, job scheduling, and O&M monitoring. Big data is now more accessible than ever before, which makes it easier for you to quickly build big data processing centers.
