Huawei Listed Again as a Challenger in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Network Firewalls

Huawei, with its Cloud Firewall (CFW), is an important cloud service provider in the cloud firewall field. Huawei was listed again in the Magic Quadrant for Network Firewalls released by Gartner, a global IT research and consultancy company.

Networks have become ubiquitous, and firewalls need to protect more than network borders. Firewalls today are supposed to defend against external attacks, unauthorized connections initiated from the inside, and internal penetration attacks on public, private, and hybrid clouds. To meet corporate demand for next-generation firewalls with stronger network security, Huawei has launched CFW, a flexible and intelligent cloud native firewall to protect inbound and outbound traffic, and workloads on the cloud.

17 vendors were included in this Gartner report. They were evaluated with regards to Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute. Huawei entered the Challenger Quadrant again with its cloud native firewall.

CFW is a next-generation cloud native SaaS firewall. It is highly scalable and provides advanced threat detection and response capabilities. It can be used to facilitate O&M in a wide range of scenarios.

CFW is easy to use and scale, and can accurately detect intrusions, providing strong defense for networks on the cloud. It can also work with Huawei Cloud SecMaster to quickly detect abnormal traffic, automatically block attacks and fix security issues, and intelligently monitor and protect traffic in all scenarios.

For more information about CFW, visit the Huawei Cloud website:

https://www.huaweicloud.com/intl/en-us/product/cfw.html

Gartner does not endorse any vendor, product or service depicted in its research publications, and does not advise technology users to select only those vendors with the highest ratings or other designation.
