MegaMedia owns 6 TV channels, 5 radios, 11 website platforms, and 1 OTT platform. The total users cover more than 50% of Chile's population.

    MegaGo is the streaming and on-demand TV service from the MegaMedia group, available on devices such as Smart TVs, mobile phones, and computers.

Business Challenges

Hard to handle the peak hours

MegaGo is committed to providing users with high-definition, low-latency live broadcasts of matches. However, the on-premise deployment mode cannot handle the traffic surge during popular matches. The traffic during these events can be 35 times higher than usual, causing the platform to fail to operate normally.

Security risks

The on-premise deployment mode poses significant security risks, such as brute force attack against the single sign-on (SSO) system, repeated attempts to guess passwords. Hacker attacks result in users being unable to log in and use the platform normally, all attacks cannot be monitored and prevented, causing great stress for platform operations.
