The primary requirement was a full on-premise to cloud migration to implement auto-scaling capabilities. This transition was essential to adjust resources based on real-time demand, thereby eliminating the wasted budget caused by over-provisioned hardware and ensuring seamless platform performance.

2. Operational Efficiency: Despite being a digital platform, administrative workflows such as attendance tracking, academic reporting, and parent communications still required heavy manual intervention—consuming significant teacher time that could otherwise be dedicated to instruction. School Bright set an ambitious target to reduce teacher administrative workload by 90% across its network of 400+ schools. 3. Database

RDS for PostgreSQL: A fully managed, enterprise-grade relational database service providing the reliability and integrity required to store and process large-scale student records, academic data, and institutional information across 400+ schools.

4. Network

ELB (Elastic Load Balance): Distributes incoming user traffic intelligently across multiple server instances preventing system overload during high-concurrency event such as morning attendance check-ins, exam result announcements or report card releases.

VPC (Virtual Private Cloud): Creates a logically isolated, private network environment on the cloud—ensuring all internal communications between platform components are segmented and protected from external exposure.

NAT Gateway: Acts as a gateway allowing internal systems to connect to the internet securely without exposing actual server IP addresses, reducing the risk of attacks.

WAF (Web Application Firewall): Provides real-time protection against OWASP top threats such as web-layer attacks including SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and malicious bot traffic—safeguarding the platform and all user data continuously.
