Before migrating to Huawei Cloud, XSpring operated multiple disconnected systems across global and local public clouds and an on-premise data center. This fragmented setup led to high costs, limited scalability, and lack of centralized governance. 1. Inconsistent Infrastructure Architecture

With multiple subsidiaries utilizing different infrastructure (local cloud, public cloud, and on-premise), there are inconsistent cloud infrastructure across the Group. This in turn causes operational redundancy as well as technical complication for system maintenances.

2. Data Fragmentation

Business information is stored across the group companies ring-fenced from each other; such systems do not intercommunicate across the board leading to missed cross-selling opportunities.

3. High Data Transmission Costs

The legacy cloud service provider‘s data centers are not located in Thailand, so the data needs to be transmitted to a third country for processing. This not only brings the risk of data leakage but also results in high data transmission costs.

Huawei Cloud in collaboration with the customer and partners, designed and implemented a landing zone shared cloud infrastructure to serve all companies within the XSpring Group, ensuring standardized security, governance, and operational efficiency. The solution is designed around five key components:

1. Multi-Environment Architecture

XSpring operates on separate Non-Production, Pre-Production, and Production environments, ensuring system stability and data protection while enabling continuous deployment and innovation without disrupting live systems.

2. Centralized Network Operation

All environments are connected through a centralized Network Operation Zone that manages routing, traffic inspection, and shared security tools like Enterprise router, Huawei Cloud Firewall and IDS/IPS, helping XSpring maintain unified control and proactively prevent cyber threats.

3. Centralized Identity and Access Management

A centralized Identity Provider with IAM and SSO grants secure and consistent access control across all systems, simplifying user management and strengthening security governance.

4. Centralized Logging & Monitoring

System logs and performance metrics from every environment are collected and analyzed through AOM, Cloud Eye, and OBS, providing real-time visibility, faster issue resolution, and full regulatory compliance.

5. Hybrid Connectivity

Through Enterprise VPN and hybrid networking, XSpring securely connects its on-premise infrastructure with Huawei Cloud, enabling seamless collaboration, flexible scaling, and cost-efficient hybrid operations.
