Recently, Huawei Cloud Retail Innovation Day Türkiye was held in Istanbul with the theme of driving retail digitalization for Türkiye with cloud technologies. Huawei Cloud and local customers came together to explore how cutting-edge technologies can revolutionize the retail sector, enhancing customer experience and driving user growth.
Five Solutions for New Retail
Onur Karahayıt, Vice President of Huawei Cloud Türkiye, introduced the retail industry solution specifically designed for Türkiye, encompassing five capabilities: cloud-based infrastructure, intelligent operation, user growth, global boosting, and shared ecosystem. According to him, these capabilities are derived from Huawei Cloud's AI capabilities and Huawei's extensive experience in digital transformation spanning over three decades, with the goal of unlocking the potential of new retail for Türkiye.

Cloud-based infrastructure: Huawei Cloud's cloud native infrastructure ensures a seamless shopping experience for a large user base, enabling Turkish retailers to effortlessly manage traffic surges. One notable example is CCE Turbo, which can rapidly expand its computing power by 8,000 cores within just 30 seconds. Additionally, GaussDB can handle millions of queries per second, ensuring high concurrency. Huawei Cloud has provided full-stack SAP IaaS–certified SAP on Cloud solutions for more than 1,000 SAP customers around the world.
Intelligent operation: Leveraging intelligent recommendation and data processing technologies, Huawei Cloud empowers retailers to make informed decisions on store locations, expedite store openings, and optimize distribution and sales strategies based on real-time store status and inventory. Huawei's vast expertise in managing a network of 400,000 retail stores globally enables us to offer comprehensive smart retail services that cater to various scenarios. These services aim to enhance the shopping experience and boost sales performance for retailers, leveraging AI heat map analysis and layout optimization, real-time PSI data acquisition, IoT device management, and digital signage content management.

The rapid generation of virtual humans within a week accelerates the launch of virtual human livestreaming for retailers, ultimately driving user growth and sales revenue.
