Huawei Cloud Strengthens as Chile's First Multi-Cloud Choice and Launches New AI Cloud Solutions

[Santiago, Chile, November 12, 2025] Huawei Cloud Chile held its most important annual event, the Huawei Cloud Summit 2025, gathering over 400 participants including partners, customers, and representatives from the local technology ecosystem. Under the theme "Accelerating Intelligence, Leading the Path for a Smart Chile," the company presented new tools to enhance the use of AI and cloud, which will help businesses and organizations become more competitive and efficient.

The event kicked off with remarks from Mark Chen, President of Huawei Cloud Latin America, who highlighted that Huawei was the first company to invest in public cloud in Chile, "because we believed it could empower digital transformation and future AI advancements. Since then, we have achieved many milestones, and at this summit, we are accompanied by many customers and partners who join us with confidence and support to grow our businesses". He revealed that this year, Huawei Cloud has seen a "60% increase in portfolio in the region, which means we are the fastest-growing in Latin America".

The summit also featured a keynote speech from Ignacio Silva Santa Cruz, Head of the Emerging Technologies Division at the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation of Chile. He appreciated the event and thanked Huawei "for investing in the country, developing local talent, and strengthening the infrastructure for digital growth". The authority was emphatic in pointing out that the country needs "every technological advance, from Artificial Intelligence to cloud infrastructure, and they must contribute to improving people's lives, strengthening our digital sovereignty, and projecting Chile as a laboratory of technological policies in the service of human development".

New AI Tools for the Industry

In this context, Huawei Cloud showcased four new AI-focused tools that are accessible to all companies, regardless of their size or sector:

·  AI token services: Ready-to-use models that allow any company to leverage advanced Artificial Intelligence without having to create it from scratch.

·  Versatile: A platform for developing customized intelligent agents.

·  Professional fine-tuning services: Solutions tailored to the specific needs of each company, regardless of the industry.

·  Support programs: Teams of experts who help implement these technologies step by step and train specialized AI teams.

At the event, leading Chilean companies such as Nutrisco, Movistar, and Chilquinta shared their experience on how they have improved their operations thanks to Huawei Cloud, showcasing tangible improvements in efficiency, customer service, and cost reduction. These companies highlighted their key preferences for Huawei Cloud:

·  Uninterrupted services, ensuring that the platform has operated without serious incidents for more than 800 consecutive days, including days of power outages.

·  That data is kept locally, protecting privacy and complying with regulations.

·  A quick response and 24/7 technical support service.

·  Faster connections that enhance the user experience of applications and digital services.

 

Major Investment in Chile and Latin America

During the Summit, Huawei reiterated its commitment to the region, announcing greater investment, especially in Chile and Brazil, where the implementation of new data availability zones (AZ) was confirmed, benefiting all countries in the Southern Cone. Currently, Huawei Cloud maintains data centers in 5 Latin American countries and support teams in 9 nations, ensuring close and personalized services for its customers.

The General Manager of Huawei Cloud Chile, David Zhang, explained that the company's vision is for "Artificial Intelligence to stop being a privilege of large corporations and become a daily tool for all organizations, from startups to public services". He added that this goal defines the work carried out by the brand, which has been a pioneer in developing AI solutions tailored to the specific needs of various industries.

In this regard, Mark Chen, President of Huawei Cloud Latin America, highlighted that more than 2,500 companies and organizations are now working with Huawei Cloud in the region, a market where multiple providers operate and private, public, and hybrid clouds coexist. The partnerships span sectors including, media, healthcare, retail, banking, telecommunications, and mining.
