Public IP Addresses Mapping to the Domain Name for Accessing HUAWEI CLOUD OBS Will Be Changed in Region LA-Santiago

Sep 09, 2022 GMT+08:00

Dear customer,

HUAWEI CLOUD will use the new public IP addresses used for accessing OBS on September 13, 2022, from 00:00 to 05:00 (GMT-03:00) in the LA-Santiago region.

This change does not affect users who access OBS using domain names. Only users who access OBS using the following methods will be affected, please make the following arrangements and adjustments accordingly:

1. Users who use IP addresses to visit OBS must use domain names to access OBS.

2. For users who access HUAWEI CLOUD OBS using local hosts, use the public DNS domain name resolution mode.

For example: configure XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX  obs.la-south-2.myhuaweicloud.com in the hosts file

Windows:C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Linux:/etc/hosts

3. Add the IP address range provided in the following table to the IP address whitelists or firewall policies that you have configured before. If special route is involved, add the following IP segment routing policy:

Region

Domain Name

IP Address Range

LA-Santiago

obs.la-south-2.myhuaweicloud.com

182.160.19.0/24
119.8.157.0/24
