IAM Will Rotate the Certificate for Federated Identity Authentication on November 28, 2025 at 22:00 GMT+08:00

Dear Customers,

The certificate embedded in the Metadata.xml file (entityID="https://iam.cn-north-4.myhuaweicloud.com" or "https://iam.myhuaweicloud.com") of Huawei Cloud IAM will expire on December 18, 2025 GMT+08:00. The certificate will be rotated on November 28, 2025 at 22:00 GMT+08:00.

This rotation will not affect your access to Huawei Cloud. You need to obtain the latest SAML metadata.xml file from Huawei Cloud IAM and update it to your identity provider (IdP) after certificate rotation.

For details about how to obtain the Metadata.xml file, visit https://support.huaweicloud.com/intl/en-us/api-iam/iam_13_0503.html. The Metadata.xml file of Huawei Cloud IAM is used on your IdP for SAML-based federated identity authentication, with IAM functioning as the service provider (SP).

If the file is not replaced before the certificate expires, an error may occur when you try to obtain a token through federated identity authentication.
