Frequently asked questions about OSPAR
Frequently asked questions about OSPAR
What is OSPAR?
The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) has issued its ABS Guidelines on Control Objectives and Procedures for Outsourced Service Providers (ABS Guidelines). The ABS Guidelines contain information security guidance for service providers who deliver services to financial institutions operating in Singapore. The guidelines specify the baseline (minimum) controls that service providers must implement in cloud outsourcing arrangements. The Outsourced Service Provider's Audit Report (OSPAR) is the framework that external auditors use to validate the service provider's controls against the criteria specified in the ABS Guidelines.
Huawei Cloud has passed a rigorous audit performed by a third-party auditor and achieved the OSPAR attestation. OSPAR attestation for Huawei Cloud demonstrates our compliance with the ABS guidelines, the strictest requirements for financial institutions operating in Singapore, and our capabilities of providing compliant, secure, reliable cloud services and helping you meet compliance requirements.
How does Huawei Cloud maintain security compliance in the context of the ever-changing cloud environment and services?
Huawei Cloud invites a third-party auditor approved by ABS to perform the OSPAR audit every year. Huawei Cloud will release a copy of the audit report issued by the auditor in a timely manner.
