Smart City Cybersecurity White Paper Released by SCIE

On December 17, 2019, the Smart City Cybersecurity White Paper was released at a smart city forum jointly hosted by Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology and Huawei, which are members of Smart City Industrial Ecosphere (SCIE). The white paper provides technology, management, and operations recommendations to deal with the cybersecurity risks encountered in smart city construction.

Huawei Customers Win Awards at SCEWC 2019

At the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2019, Jiangxi Yingtan has won an award for industry digital transformation both in China and worldwide, and Shenzhen Longgang was recognized for digital government innovation. In addition, five of Huawei's key smart city customers were nominated for multiple awards, including Digital Government Innovation, Excellent City Management, and the Innovative Idea Award.

Shanghai e-Government Cloud

Shanghai e-Government Cloud consists of a single city cloud and 16 district or county clouds, all logically connected to provide government services. By the end of 2018, Shanghai Big Data Center had migrated 362 information systems to the cloud, including the population, legal persons, spatial geography, and databases of electronic certificates. 327 enterprise review services were moved online and 382 enterprise-related services can now be handled without providing resident identity cards or business licenses. Each enterprise-related service can be quickly handled in the same system by submitting a single application at local service counter.

Longgang IOC

We helped the Longgang district of Shenzhen to establish an IOC to collect and analyze Longgang's economic and social operation data for scientific decision-making and accurate scheduling in city governance. The IOC leveraged comprehensive monitoring of the district's operation conditions to improve Longgang's resource allocation efficiency by 60%.

Harbin Taiping Heating

We joined hands with Harbin Taiping Heating to establish a practical smart E2E heating control solution by leveraging cloud computing, big data, AI, and IoT. We helped Harbin Taiping Heating to optimize the entire heating system and automate certain processes, delivering secure, environment-friendly, high-quality heating.
