Passport OCR
Automatically identifies all information from Chinese passports. For other countries' passports, Passport OCR can identify six to seven key fields based on the machine-readable code, including the name, gender, date of birth, passport number, country code, and date of expiry. Passport information can still be accurately identified even in complex scenarios such as darkness, tilt, overexposure, and shadow.
This API is used for real-name authentication, identity verification, and key information identification. Specifically, for identity verification, it checks whether a passport holder is the same person featured in the picture on the passport; for key information identification, it automatically identifies key information on passports, significantly reducing manual effort while improving entry efficiency.
