Notice on the Update of the Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) SLA on Huawei Cloud International Website
Aug 04, 2025 GMT+08:00
Dear customer,
Huawei Cloud has updated the SLA for Elastic Cloud Server (ECS). The details are as follows:
In the original ECS SLA, ECS Unavailability is when the system logs of Elastic Cloud Servers (ECSs) (including FlexusX instances and ECSs on DeHs) show that ECS was inaccessible for one (1) or more consecutive minutes because of Huawei Cloud. In the new ECS SLA, ECS Unavailability is a condition in which an ECS (including a FlexusX instance or an ECS on DeH) that has inbound and outbound rules configured cannot communicate with any IP address over TCP or UDP for more than one (1) minute. Note: A single ECS may inevitably encounter software or hardware failures. Any unavailability resulting from insufficient design or implementation of high availability and quick recovery shall not be considered as ECS Unavailability.
If you continue to use the service after the updated Agreement takes effect, you will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to the updated Agreement.
If you have any questions or issues with this update, please submit a service ticket. The updated Agreement will take effect seven (7) days after the notice is released.
Thank you for using Huawei Cloud.
