Check whether there is a route whose next hop is the NAT gateway in the route list. The NAT gateway automatically creates a route 0.0.0.0/0 from the VPC to the NAT gateway to allow traffic from the VPC to the NAT gateway, as shown in Figure 1.
What Are the Differences Between Private NAT Gateways and Public NAT Gateways?
Log in to the NAT Gateway management console, and choose Network Connectivity > NAT Gateway > Public NAT Gateways. Click the name of the newly created public NAT gateway to go to its details page.
