You can use public NAT gateways to enable ECSs in the VPC to share an EIP to access or be accessed by the Internet. For details, see Using a Public NAT Gateway to Enable Servers to Share One or More EIPs to Access the Internet. Pay-per-use EIPs can be migrated across accounts.
EIPs can be bound to or unbound from ECSs, BMSs, virtual IP addresses, NAT gateways, and load balancers.
Configure a public NAT gateway. After purchasing a public NAT gateway, you can add DNAT rules to enable your servers in the VPC or servers in your data center that are connected to the VPC to provide internet-accessible services. Buy a public NAT gateway.
EIPs can be flexibly bound to or unbound from ECSs, BMSs, virtual IP addresses, NAT gateways, or load balancers. Various billing modes are provided to meet diversified service requirements. URI POST /v1/{project_id}/publicips Table 1 describes the parameters.
Each EIP can only be bound to one cloud resource, such as an ECS, a NAT gateway, or a load balancer. A shared bandwidth can be used by multiple pay-per-use EIPs. The shared bandwidth is dynamically allocated to the EIPs based on the actual usage conditions.
In this case, traffic is forwarded to the EIP and cannot reach the NAT gateway. Parent topic: Connectivity
NAT Gateway NAT Gateway provides both SNAT and DNAT for your servers in a VPC and allows servers in your VPC to access or provide services accessible from the Internet through flexible and simple configuration.
You can bind EIPs to ECSs, NAT gateways, or load balancers. After the EIPs are bound, these instances share the same bandwidth. This section describes how to use shared bandwidths to provide unified public network egresses for ECSs.
Scenario 3: Unbinding an EIP from a NAT Gateway and Binding a New EIP to the NAT Gateway Assign an EIP by referring to 2. If you already have an EIP that you require, skip this step. Modify an SNAT rule. For details, see Modifying an SNAT Rule.
The value can be: PORT (Instance type, including ECS, BMS, and CCE) NATGW (NAT gateway type) ELB (Load balancer type) VPN (VPN instance type) associate_instance_id String ID of the instance with an EIP bound. publicip_pool_id String ID of the network that an EIP belongs to.
If you want to bind a NAT gateway to an EIP, the NAT gateway must be in the same region as that of the EIP. After an EIP is bound to a NAT gateway, ECSs associated with this gateway can share the EIP to access the Internet or provide services accessible from the Internet.
EIPs can be bound to or unbound from ECSs, BMSs, virtual IP addresses, NAT gateways, or load balancers. An EIP can be flexibly bound to or unbound from a cloud resource in the same region.
You can bind EIPs to resources such as ECSs, NAT gateways, and load balancers so that these resources can use the shared bandwidth. For more information, see Shared Bandwidth Overview.

Binding an EIP to an ECS Binding an EIP to a BMS NAT Gateway Use a public NAT gateway to enable servers to share one or more EIPs to access the Internet.
The EIP can be used by only one cloud resource, such as a NAT gateway, an ECS, or a load balancer. Generally, if all EIPs need to access the Internet simultaneously, dedicated bandwidths are recommended preferentially. How Do I Use Dedicated Bandwidths?
