Purchasing and Configuring an ECS Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) is used in this document. You can also use your own Linux host (running Ubuntu 16.04 OS). Buy an ECS.The following table lists mandatory configurations.
If necessary, synchronize incremental data from the source ECS to the target ECS by using the Sync option on the SMS console.
Specify a valid password when creating the ECS and name the ECS SMS. The official Microsoft image is recommended. Ensure that the ECS can access the Internet, so that the required tools can be downloaded.
Creating a Linux Agent Image Preparing an ECS Prepare a Linux ECS using a public image. Set a password for the ECS. Install Python 3 on the ECS if it is not included in the public image.

An ECS has been bound to the environment.
(Optional) Log in to the target ECS to verify the migration result. If necessary, synchronize incremental data from the source ECS to the target ECS by using the Sync option on the SMS console.

When using KooCLI on an ECS, add --cli-mode=ecsAgency in a command so that KooCLI can use the ECS agency to automatically obtain a temporary AK/SK and SecurityToken for authentication. To use this authentication mode, ensure that you have created an ECS agency.
You need to install an Agent on the Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) where the application is deployed. Modify startup parameters of the application to ensure that APM can monitor it.
Deleting Hosts When purchasing an ECS, configure EIPs and EVS disks. When deleting an ECS, you need to delete the EIP and the disks attached to the ECS. Log in to ECS.
Attach the created data disks to the ECS by referring to Attaching an EVS Disk to an ECS.
