Disk Capacity Expansion of an EVS Cluster Context In conventional scaling, compute and storage resources are coupled. If a company scales out disks, it has to add unnecessary CPUs and memory at the same time. The scaling takes a long time and interrupts services.

Deleting Hosts When purchasing an ECS, configure EIPs and EVS disks. When deleting an ECS, you need to delete the EIP and the disks attached to the ECS. Log in to ECS.
Attach the created data disks to the ECS by referring to Attaching an EVS Disk to an ECS.
Elastic ScalingMySQL databases can support only medium- and small-scale service systems because their CPU, memory, and network processing are limited by server configurations and their storage depends on the size of SSD or EVS disks.
Backup and restoration can be performed on ECSs and EVS disks. You can configure automatic backup policies for them.

Currently, you can only modify the specifications of cloud data warehouse clusters and stream data warehouse clusters that only use ECS and EVS resources for computing and storage.
