Scaling Out a Cluster (Discarded) Function This API is used to add instances to a cluster (only Elasticsearch instances can be added). This API can only scale out clusters that only have common nodes. Clusters with master, client, or cold data nodes cannot use this API.

If this parameter is left blank, the default value is used. maxRestoreBytesPerSeconds No String Definition: This parameter sets the maximum recovery speed per node (bytes per second).

(At least one data node is required when you configure instance types.) Use commas (,) to separate multiple types.
Value range: ess: data node ess-master: master node ess-client: client node ess-cold: cold data node You can select multiple node types, but cannot select the same node for different roles. Default value: N/A nodesize Yes Integer Definition: Number of instances you want to add.
Value range: N/A type String Definition: Node type. Value range: ess: data node ess-cold: cold data node ess-client: client node ess-master: master node lgs: Logstash node id String Definition: Instance ID. Value range: N/A name String Definition: Instance name.
Constraints: N/A Value range: all: all node types ess: data node ess-cold: cold data node ess-client: client node ess-master: master node Default value: N/A NOTE: All mission-critical data has been backed up before an AZ switchover. This is to prevent data loss.

Keep Master Node, Client Node, and Cold Data Node unselected. Master nodes manage cluster-wide operations, including metadata, indexes, and shard allocation.

Status Codes Status Code Description 200 Request succeeded. 400 Invalid request. The client should not repeat the request without modifications. 403 Request rejected. The server has received the request and understood it, but the server refuses to respond to it.
Set the node quantity to 3, and node specifications to 4 vCPUs | 16GB under General computing. (The test data volume is relatively small, and the CPU specifications need to be kept close to those used in third-party performance benchmarking.)
