Procedure Go to the traffic monitoring view from the VPN gateway list page, and check whether traffic bursts or continuously approaches the bandwidth specification of the VPN gateway.
By default, a VPN gateway uses two EIPs.
DB Instance Not Bound with an EIP Enable a VPN in a VPC and use the VPN to connect to the GaussDB instance. Create a GaussDB instance and an ECS in the same VPC and access the GaussDB instance through the ECS. For details, see Using gsql to Connect to an Instance.
You can use IPsec VPN tunnels or Direct Connect. You will be billed for the IPsec VPN based on the bandwidth. For Direct Connect, you will be billed by the telecom operator, and Huawei charges you only for the port use.

Example 5: Creating a Server Scenario This section describes how to create a VPN server by calling an API. Prerequisites You have created a yearly/monthly P2C VPN gateway. You have purchased or uploaded a server certificate in the CCM.
Overview VPN supports the yearly/monthly and pay-per-use billing modes. You can select one according to your requirements. To quickly learn about pricing of the VPN service in different billing modes, see VPN Pricing Details.
Prerequisites You have created a P2C VPN gateway. You have created a VPN server and set the authentication mode of the server to password authentication. For details, see Creating a Server. You have determined the endpoint for calling APIs.
The identity authentication succeeds and the VPN connection can be set up only when the PSK configured on the customer gateway is the same as that configured for the VPN connection. Figure 1 Identity and access management Parent topic: Security
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network > Enterprise – VPN Gateways. Click the P2C VPN Gateways tab. In the P2C VPN gateway list, locate the target P2C VPN gateway, and click View Server in the Operation column.

When two EIPs of a VPN gateway are connected to the same public IP address of a customer gateway, one VPN connection group is used.
You can select a method to renew a yearly/monthly VPN gateway based on the phase the VPN gateway is currently in, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Selecting a renewal method based on the VPN gateway's current phase A VPN gateway is in Normal state after it is provisioned.
