EIPs can be bound to or unbound from ECSs, Bare Metal Servers (BMSs), virtual IP addresses, load balancers, and NAT gateways, to access to or be accessed from the public network.
A VPN is used together with source NAT to enable access to specific IP addresses across clouds. A VPN can be used between the cloud and your home network that uses PPPoE dial-up. A VPN can be used between the cloud and 4G/5G routers.

Specification Limitations To enable VPC border protection and NAT protection, use the CFW professional edition and enable VPC firewall protection.
You can easily bind an EIP to a FlexusX instance, ECS, BMS, virtual IP address, NAT gateway, or load balancer, enabling immediate Internet access.

If a service VPC is being used by ELB, VPC Endpoint, NAT Gateway (private NAT gateway), Distributed Cache Service (DCS), or hybrid DNS, this VPC cannot be attached to an enterprise router. For details about constraints on enterprise routers, see Notes and Constraints.
When iptables is used, kube-proxy implements NAT and load balancing in the NAT pre-routing hook. For each Service, kube-proxy installs an iptables rule which captures the traffic destined for the Service's ClusterIP and ports and redirects the traffic to one of the backend pods.

Services like VPC, NAT Gateway, and ELB provide basic network support. The network status affects the connectivity between services. Therefore, you need to use the cloud service monitoring function to monitor the running status of each service system at any time.
