On the ECS list page, locate the configured ECS and choose More > Stop to stop it. After the ECS is stopped, choose More > Manage Image/Backup > Create Image to create an ECS backup. After the ECS backup is created, restart the ECS and perform encapsulation on the ECS.

Locking an ECS (Discarded) Function This API is used to lock an ECS. You are only allowed to lock your own ECSs.
Detaching the system disk from the ECS is involved. To prevent data loss, back up data in advance. Prerequisites A temporary Linux ECS which locates in the same AZ as the target ECS is available. An EIP has been bound to the temporary ECS.

How Do I Create and Log In to an ECS? For details on how to create and log in to an ECS, see Purchasing and Logging In to a Windows ECS and Purchasing and Logging In to a Linux ECS. The ECS to be created must be in the same VPC with the DDS DB instance to which it connects.
