NOTE: If you have enabled public outbound access for a gateway, the IP address or domain name can be a public IP address (ECS EIP, public IP address of your own server, or ELB address), a public domain name, or a private network IP address. Private domain names cannot be used.
ECS deployment: The value is from (Number of shards x 40 GB) to (Number of shards x 24 TB) and must be a multiple of (Number of shards x 4 GB).
For details, see Purchasing an ECS in Custom Config Mode. In subsequent operations, the MRS cluster client and MgC Agent need to be installed on different ECSs. Install an MRS cluster client. Install the MRS cluster client on the newly created Linux host.
Replace the IP address with the private network IP address of ECS to ensure that GaussDB(DWS) can communicate with GDS through this IP address. The port numbers are 5000 and 5001 for TPC-H and 5002 and 5003 for TPC-DS.
