What Should I Do If a Linux EVS Disk Is Attached to a Windows Server? You are not advised to attach a Linux EVS disk to a Windows server or attach a Windows EVS disk to a Linux server. The disk information may fail to be displayed due to the inconsistent file systems.
Detaching an EVS Disk from an ECS Function This API is used to detach an EVS disk from an ECS. This API is an asynchronous API. After the detachment request is successfully delivered, a job ID is returned. This does not mean the detachment is complete.

Rolling Back a Snapshot to an EVS Disk (Deprecated) Function This API is used to roll back a snapshot to an EVS disk. Note: This API has been deprecated. Use another API. Constraints A snapshot can be rolled back only to its source disk. Rollback to another disk is not possible.
The EVS disk list is displayed in the right pane. View the status of each EVS disk. Do not detach an EVS disk from an ECS that is being started, stopped, or restarted. Do not detach an EVS disk from a running ECS whose OS does not support this feature.
Attaching an EVS Disk to a BMS Function This API is used to attach EVS disks to a BMS as data disks after the BMS is created if existing disks are insufficient or cannot meet requirements. Constraints EVS disks cannot be attached to a BMS in a batch.

Can I Back Up and Restore My EVS Disk to a Different Region? EVS disks already attached to ECS support cross-region backup and restoration. Such disks can be backed up together with their ECS using CBR cloud server backup, which supports cross-region replication.
