Querying Details About an EVS Disk Function This API is used to query details about an EVS disk. Calling Method For details, see Calling APIs.
Expanding the Capacity of an EVS Disk If the EVS disk attached to a workload does not have enough space, you can increase its capacity by expanding it. This section describes how to expand the capacity of an EVS disk through the console.
This parameter is used together with *limit when you query EVS disks. For example, there are a total of 30 EVS disk.
Select EVS for the StorageClass, enable encryption, and choose a key. Configure other parameters based on service requirements. For details, see Using an EVS Disk Through a Dynamic PV. Figure 1 Encrypted storage volume Click Create.
Buy an EVS disk: Configure the disk parameters, including the disk type, capacity, name, and other information by referring to Purchasing an EVS Disk. Attach the data disk: Attach the separately purchased disk to an ECS by referring to Attaching an EVS Disk.
Setting Bootable Flag for an EVS Disk Function This API is used to set the bootable flag for an EVS disk. Constraints Even if this API was called to set a data disk to bootable, this data disk still cannot be used as a system disk for a cloud server.
The Elastic Volume Service page is displayed. In the search box, select a tag key under Resource Tag and then a tag value to trigger auto search. You can search for disks by multiple tags and they are automatically joined with AND. Parent Topic: Managing EVS Tags

Verifying the EVS Expansion After the capacity of an EVS disk is expanded, you can view the EVS specifications and capacity indicators to check whether the capacity expansion is successful. Procedure Log in to the ECS as user root.
Notes and Constraints You can add a maximum of 20tags for a single EVS disk. Tag keys of the same EVS disk must be unique. Procedure Log in to the console. Click in the upper left corner and choose Storage > Elastic Volume Service. The Elastic Volume Service page is displayed.
