Acceptable Use Policy

The Acceptable User Policy (hereinafter refer to as "this Policy") is an integral part of the HUAWEI CLOUD User Agreement. This Policy further defines the regulations with which you shall comply when accessing and using HUAWEI CLOUD services, and provides a list of actions that will be deemed a violation of the User Agreement.

  • Clause 1
  • You shall abide by all applicable laws and regulations and strictly follow all of the regulations on information security management.
  • You shall not access or use HUAWEI CLOUD services by any illegal means.
  • Clause 2
  • You shall not use HUAWEI CLOUD services to engage in illegal or criminal activities such as impairing national security or disclosing national secrets. You shall not use HUAWEI CLOUD services to produce, read, copy, or disseminate information that violates the constitution and laws of the People's Republish of China, hinders social security, undermines national unity, or contains pornographic or violent content, or any other information, including but not limited to the following:
  • 1. Information that instigates people to resist or undermine the implementation of the constitution, laws, and administrative regulations
  • 2. Information that incites people to subvert the power of the state or socialism
  • 3. Information that jeopardizes state security or discloses national secrets
  • 4. Information that instigates people to split the state or undermines national unity
  • 5.Information that instigates ethnic hatred or ethnic discrimination or undermines ethnic unity
  • 6.Information that jeopardizes national religious policies
  • 7.Information that disseminates political propaganda or news that violates national regulations
  • 8.Information that damages the reputation and/or the interests of the state and/or government agencies
  • 9. Information that fabricates or distorts facts, spreads rumors, disturbs the social order, undermines social stability, or undermines social ethics
  • 10.Information that promotes illegal cults, superstition, obscenity, pornography, violence, murder, terror, or abetting crimes
  • 11.Information that infringes on others' personal rights (such as deliberately humiliating others or fabricating facts to slander them) or interests
  • 12.Information that disseminates fraud (fraudulent commodities, services, plans, or promotional programs, such as "get rich quick" schemes, pyramid schemes and pyramid sales models, phishing, and pharming)
  • 13.Information that relates to gambling lotteries, gambling, or other illegal Internet publishing activities such as illegal private servers or illegal plug-ins
  • 14.Information about other activities that violate the constitution, laws, or administrative regulations
  • Clause 3
  • You shall not use HUAWEI CLOUD services to engage in the following activities that endanger the security of computers and information networks:
  • 1. Accessing computers and information networks, or using their resources of computers and information networks without authorization
  • 2. Deleting or modifying functions of or adding functions to computers and information networks without authorization
  • 3. Monitoring the data or traffic of computers or information networks without authorization
  • 4. Monitoring computers or information networks, or damaging monitored computers and information networks, without authorization
  • 5. Sending large numbers of communication requests to targets without authorization so that the targets cannot respond properly or fail due to slow response
  • 6. Manually or electronically avoiding any usage limitations (such as access and storage limitations) set by the system without authorization
  • 7. Modifying or attempting to modify the system configurations provided by HUAWEI CLOUD or otherwise jeopardizing system security without authorization
  • 8. Using HUAWEI CLOUD services, without authorization, to provide channels to obtain information that is illegal in China from other countries without cybersecurity review or by technical means
  • 9. Overloading the system by disturbing the proper operation of any computer or information network (such as deliberately using an email bomb, news bomb, broadcast attack, or overflow technology)
  • 10. Faking sources (for example, faking a TCP-IP package header or an email subject, or the section of a document that describes its source or path, excluding any act of forwarding an email anonymously or using an alias)
  • 11. Deliberately creating and disseminating destructive programs, such as computer viruses
  • 12. Posing a security risk to cloud services or any third parties
  • 13. Adversely affecting cloud services, systems, or the content of this Website
  • 14. Other activities that jeopardize the security of computer systems or information networks
  • Clause 4
  • Information service units that provide interactive online services, such as online forums, BBSs, and chat rooms, shall have all of the business qualifications and the necessary property and operation rights. They shall manage links to ensure that there are no links to illegal materials on the associated websites, strengthen their review procedures for all posted information, implement regulations for moderator accountability, and further block and filter harmful information by means of technical filtering and manual surveillance and inspection. Login records of all users shall be kept and maintained for a minimum of sixty (60) days.
  • Clause 5
  • You must strictly monitor and review content in/on BBSs, chat rooms, and search engines. In particular, you must also monitor and review BBS discussion areas, social news and military affairs modules, as well as types and tabs of search engines. You shall eliminate articles with reactionary tendencies, pornographic content, sensitive topics, and content that may have an adverse impact on the BBS or Huawei, and you shall eliminate all improper information and/or activities. If any illegal information or behavior is found, you shall immediately back up the relevant raw material about its content and author(s), including the time of posting and the user name and IP address of the author, and shall immediately delete the harmful information and/or the activity from the Internet and start the corresponding contingency plan.
  • Clause 6
  • You shall not disseminate, release, send, or help others to send unsolicited group emails or other messages, promotional information, or advertisements or requests (such as spam, spam hosting), including commercial advertisements and notifications. You shall not change or hide email subjects, nor assume to be a sender of an email without the consent of the actual sender. In the event that another Internet service provider sends messages that violate this Policy, you shall not collect, reply, or further disseminate such messages.
  • Clause 7
  • Information that you provide must comply with all national laws, administrative regulations, rules, and policies on intellectual property rights.
  • Clause 8
  • You cannot sublease HUAWEI CLOUD services unless authorized.
  • Clause 9
  • You shall not occupy or use a number of HUAWEI CLOUD services for unauthorized purposes (including but not limited to Bitcoin mining) as this may have the following adverse effects:
    • Causing a heavy load to networks, servers (including but not limited to local, non-local, and international networks and servers) and HUAWEI CLOUD products or applications and/or those of HUAWEI CLOUD users
    • Affecting the communications between HUAWEI CLOUD and the Internet, between HUAWEI CLOUD and specific networks or servers, and between internal units of HUAWEI CLOUD
    • Causing HUAWEI CLOUD servers to break down or crash, or otherwise prevent HUAWEI CLOUD users from accessing HUAWEI CLOUD services

  • HUAWEI CLOUD reserves the right to investigate any violations of this Policy or abuses of HUAWEI CLOUD or HUAWEI CLOUD services, but is not obligated to execute such an investigation.

  • Once it has detected activities that are in violation of any laws or regulations, HUAWEI CLOUD shall report these activities to the relevant administrative institutions, judicial organs, law enforcement authorities, supervisory departments, or other third parties. Such reporting may disclose the private information of the customers concerned. HUAWEI CLOUD may, in the course of its cooperation with the relevant administrative institutions, judicial organs, law enforcement authorities, supervisory departments, or other third parties, provide to these entities network and system information and any of Your Content that is in violation of this Policy or the laws and regulations, or that infringes upon the legitimate rights and interests of third parties.

  • In the event that this Policy is violated or that HUAWEI CLOUD and HUAWEI CLOUD services are abused, HUAWEI CLOUD has the right to take all necessary measures, including but not limited to closing or deleting the relevant content, closing unregistered websites or websites suspected of releasing indecent information, and suspending or terminating the relevant services and agreements. In the case that severe violations occur, HUAWEI CLOUD reserves the right to require that you assume civil or criminal liability, as well as the right to unilaterally terminate all forms of cooperation with you on a permanent basis. In any such case, the adoption of any of the aforesaid measures by HUAWEI CLOUD shall not be deemed a breach of contract, and HUAWEI CLOUD does not bear any liability thereby. Additionally, if any of your actions result in an investigation conducted by any government agency, you shall provide assistance and bear all of the losses and expenses incurred by HUAWEI CLOUD for providing assistance in the course of the investigation and the collection of evidence conducted by the government agency, or resulting from its conclusion, including but not limited to the loss of profit and/or goodwill incurred due to assisting in the investigation or acquiescing to the conclusions of the government agency.

  • In the event that you discover any activities that are in violation of this Policy, you shall report these activities to HUAWEI CLOUD immediately and assist HUAWEI CLOUD in establishing or correcting them as required.
