Resource List Why Can't I Delete Resources on the Resource List Page? On the Resource List page, you can only view resources and export resource details. To delete a resource, you need to click View Details in the Operation column to go to the corresponding service page.

Locate a target package and click Delete in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, click OK. After a conformance package is deleted, the rules included are also automatically deleted from the list.

Deleting an Organization Conformance Package Scenario If you do not need an organization conformance package any longer, you can follow the procedure below to delete it.
Only the organization administrator or delegated administrator of Config who creates the organization rule can modify or delete it. To modify or delete a rule of a conformance package, update or delete the package. For details, see Organization Rules and Conformance Packages.
Solution Ensure that only the allowed resource types are created and delete prohibited resources. Rule Logic If a resource is not any unallowed type, this resource is compliant. If a resource is any unallowed type, this resource is non-compliant. Parent topic: General Policies

If an ECS is no longer needed, delete it to save costs. If such ECS has sensitive information, the data may be restored even if the ECS is shut down. Clearing the data before deleting the ECS can reduce security risks. Solution Check whether your ECSs are still required.
