SFS Turbo Deletion How Do I Delete .nfs Files? How Can I Improve the Copy and Delete Efficiency with an SFS Turbo File System?
How Do I Delete .nfs Files? NFS .nfs Files The .nfs files are temporary files in NFS. If you try to delete a file, and the file is still open, a .nfs file will appear. The .nfs files are used by NFS clients to manage the deletion of open files in the file system.
Deleting an SFS Turbo File System After you delete a file system, data in it cannot be restored. To prevent data loss, ensure that files in a file system have been properly stored or backed up before you delete a file system.
After the data has been migrated, delete or unsubscribe from the old file system. Parent topic: Others
Deleting a Data Import or Export Task Function This API is used to delete a data import or export task. Constraints This API is only supported for SFS Turbo 1,000 MB/s/TiB, 500 MB/s/TiB, 250 MB/s/TiB, 125 MB/s/TiB, 40 MB/s/TiB, and 20 MB/s/TiB file systems.
Deleting an Asynchronous Task of a File System Function This API is used to delete an asynchronous task. If the task is being executed, the task will be cancelled and then deleted. Only tasks for querying the directory usage can be deleted.
Deleting a Tag from a File System Function This API is used to delete a tag from a file system. If the specified key is not found, error 404 will be returned.
Do not modify or delete this policy, or the interworking function cannot work normally. If you have added an OBS bucket as the storage backend for one or multiple SFS Turbo file systems, before you delete any file system or remove the bucket, do not delete the bucket.
How Can I Improve the Copy and Delete Efficiency with an SFS Turbo File System? Common Linux commands, such as cp, rm, and tar, are executed sequentially. You can run commands concurrently to take the concurrency advantage of cloud file systems and improve efficiency.
Once configured, SFS Turbo will automatically delete files that have not been accessed within the specified period and retain only their metadata. Deleted data no longer occupies the file system storage space. When such files are accessed later, the file data is loaded from OBS.
Unmounting an SFS Turbo File System If an SFS Turbo file system is no longer required, you can unmount it and then delete it. Prerequisites Stop the process and read/write operations before you unmount a file system. Linux OS Log in to the ECS.
Deleting a Permission Rule Function This API is used to delete a permission rule.
