After the virtual gateway is attached to the enterprise router, Enterprise Router will automatically: Associate the virtual gateway attachment with the default route table of the enterprise router.

Create a virtual gateway and attach it to the enterprise router. Create a virtual interface to connect the virtual gateway to the connection. Configure routes on the network device in the on-premises data center. Log in to the ECS and run the ping command to verify connectivity.
After the virtual gateway is attached to the enterprise router, Enterprise Router will automatically: Associate the virtual gateway attachment with the default route table of the enterprise router.
Create a virtual gateway attachment for the enterprise router: Create a virtual gateway and attach it the enterprise router. A virtual gateway attachment is automatically added to the enterprise router.
Create a virtual interface to connect the global DC gateway to the connection. Attach the global DC gateway to the enterprise router and view the global DC gateway attachment in the attachment list of the enterprise router.
After the global DC gateway is attached to the enterprise router, Enterprise Router will automatically: Associate the global DC gateway attachment with the default route table of the enterprise router.
Step 5: Create a VPN Gateway Attachment to the Enterprise Router Create a VPN gateway and attach it to the enterprise router. Create a customer gateway. Create two VPN connections that connect the VPN gateway and the customer gateway and work in an active/standby pair.
After the VPN gateway is attached to the enterprise router, Enterprise Router will automatically: Associate the VPN gateway attachment with the default route table of the enterprise router. Propagate the VPN gateway attachment to the default route table of the enterprise router.
