For any disk already added to a replication pair, you need to first delete the replication pair and then delete the disk. Yearly/Monthly system disks cannot be unsubscribed from separately. They must be unsubscribed from together with their servers.
Delete or unsubscribe from the disk. Then, purchase a new disk in the AZ where the server belongs. For details, see Deleting an EVS Disk. Data on the disk is required. Create a backup for the disk using the CBR service.
If your disks are no longer needed, to stop being billed for their use, take the following actions: Pay-per-use disk: Just delete the disk. You will not be billed for a disk after it is deleted. For details, see Deleting an EVS Disk.

Permanently delete the disks from the recycle bin by referring to Permanently Deleting Disks from the Recycle Bin. Procedure Sign in to the console. Click in the upper left corner and choose Storage > Elastic Volume Service. The Elastic Volume Service page is displayed.
If the disk already has a backup and a new backup is created, the system will automatically delete the old snapshot and save the latest one generated. This snapshot is free of charge. You can view the snapshot details only but cannot perform any operations on it.

In Linux, unmount the partitions, delete them (by running fdisk <disk-name>, entering d and the partition number, and entering w), and then re-initialize the disk. In Windows, delete the partitions (using the volume deletion tool) and then re-initialize the disk.

Snapshot retention policy The system does not automatically delete snapshots. Snapshots are deleted in the following scenarios: You delete snapshots. You delete EVS disks. Then, the legacy snapshots of the disks are automatically deleted.
Deleting a disk will not delete its backups. A backup and its source disk reside in different AZs. To restore data and recover services, you can restore the backups to their original disks or create new disks from the backups.
Delete the partition and select a 4-KiB aligned start sector number for the new partition before continuing the test. If you delete the partition and select another start sector number for 4-KiB alignment, you will lose all the data on that partition.
Contact customer service. 400 EVS.1046 volume status must be available, error, error_extending, error_restoring, error_rollbacking when delete volume! Failed to delete the disk because the disk status is incorrect.
