Creating a VPN Gateway Scenario P2C VPN allows users to securely access applications and services deployed in a VPC from local terminals. To use P2C VPN, you need to create a VPN gateway first. Limitations and Constraints You can create a maximum of 50 VPN gateways.
The P2C VPN gateway list is displayed. To modify the name of a VPN gateway, click on the right of the VPN gateway name, modify the name, and click OK.
The P2C VPN gateway list is displayed. Click the name of a VPN gateway to view its details.

Updating a VPN Gateway Function This API is used to update a VPN gateway with a specified gateway ID. Calling Method For details, see Calling APIs.
Deleting a VPN Gateway Function This API is used to delete a VPN gateway with a specified gateway ID. If a pay-per-use VPN gateway to be deleted is bound to yearly/monthly EIPs, unbind the EIPs first. Otherwise, the VPN gateway cannot be deleted.
Creating a Customer Gateway Function This API is used to create a customer gateway to which a VPN gateway connects. Calling Method For details, see Calling APIs.
Updating a Customer Gateway Function This API is used to update a customer gateway with a specified gateway ID. Only the gateway name and certificate can be updated. To modify other parameters, you need to create another customer gateway.
Deleting a Customer Gateway Function This API is used to delete a customer gateway with a specified gateway ID. Calling Method For details, see Calling APIs.

Buying a VPN Gateway Scenarios To connect your on-premises data center or private network to your ECSs in a VPC, buy a VPN gateway first. If you choose to buy a pay-per-use VPN gateway, a VPN connection will be created together with the VPN gateway.
In a NAT traversal scenario, ensure that the source port number is not changed after NAT traversal. Verify that IKE negotiation parameter settings are consistent at the two ends of the VPN.
NAT setting: On the on-premises gateway, disable NAT for the on-premises subnets that will access the VPC subnets.
