Does the cts_admin_trust Agency Include OBS Authorization? Background When I log in to IAM to view the authorization records of cts_admin_trust, I only see KMS and SMN authorizations. OBS authorization is not displayed.
Checking Whether Data Can Be Transferred to the Configured OBS Bucket Function This API is used to check whether data can be transferred to the OBS bucket.
If an OBS bucket has been deleted or encounters an exception, an error message will be displayed on the management console. In this case, create an OBS bucket or reconfigure access control of the OBS bucket.
Must I Use an IAM User (Sub Account) to Configure Transfer on CTS and Perform Operations on an OBS Bucket? No. You only need to ensure that you have the permissions to perform operations on OBS buckets.
Configuring Trace Transfer to OBS On the management tracker configuration page, enable Transfer to OBS so that trace files will be periodically transferred to an OBS bucket.
Go to the tracker transfer configuration page and select the OBS bucket encrypted with the DEW shared key.
If trace transfer has been configured, trace files will be stored in the OBS bucket that you have specified.
Transfer them to OBS and then download them from OBS.
Querying Traces Transferred to OBS If you enable Transfer to OBS when configuring the tracker, traces will be periodically transferred to a specified OBS bucket as trace files for long-term storage. Log in to the management console.
Table 1 Parameters for configuring the transfer to OBS Parameter Description Transfer to OBS Select an existing OBS bucket or create one on this page and set File Prefix if Transfer to OBS is enabled. When Transfer to OBS is disabled, no operation is required.
First, create an OBS bucket and select a storage class on OBS Console by referring to Creating a Bucket. The storage period varies with the selected storage class. When configuring the tracker for transfer traces to OBS, select the created OBS bucket.
Tenant A is the account for which you want to configure cross-tenant transfer, and tenant B is the account where the OBS bucket resides. OBS does not support cross-region transfer. Currently, OBS buckets must be located in the same region of different tenants.
Other Involved APIs Listing Buckets: The name of the OBS bucket to which traces will be transferred is required for creating a management tracker. Call this API to list all the OBS buckets you have created to obtain the name.
OBS Bucket New: An OBS bucket will be created automatically with the name you enter. NOTE: The OBS bucket created on this page is a single-AZ private bucket with Standard storage.
