CBR stores backups in OBS to ensure data security. Backup Options CBR supports one-off backup and periodic backup. A one-off backup task is manually created and is executed only once. Periodic backup tasks are automatically executed based on a user-defined backup policy.
To let an IAM user access an OBS bucket, you need to grant the GetBucketStoragePolicy, GetBucketLocation, ListBucket, and ListAllMyBuckets permissions to the user.
You can copy the full and incremental backup files of the source database to an OBS bucket. DRS downloads that files from the bucket and uploads them to the disk of the destination database.
However, you can configure LTS to dump those logs to an Object Storage Service (OBS) bucket or enable Data Ingestion Service (DIS) for long-term storage. On the LTS console, you can view logs for the last 30 days and download logs for the last five days.
Prerequisites The OBS directory you use and ModelArts are in the same region. Procedure Log in to the ModelArts console and choose Model Management in the navigation pane on the left. Click Create Model. Configure parameters. Set basic information about the model.

Configuring an Automated Backup Policy Automated backups are generated according to a backup policy and saved as packages in OBS buckets to ensure data confidentiality and durability. You are advised to regularly back up your database, in case it becomes faulty or damaged.

Select Save Job Log, and specify the OBS bucket for saving job logs. Storing authentication credentials such as usernames and passwords in code or plaintext poses significant security risks. It is recommended using DEW to manage credentials instead.
