When creating a rule for connecting to Data Ingestion Service (DIS), Distributed Message Service (DMS) for Kafka, Object Storage Service (OBS), ROMA Connect, or SMN for the first time, you must authorize the platform to access the cloud service.
To store operation records for more than seven days, you must configure an OBS bucket to transfer records to it. Otherwise, you cannot query the operation records generated seven days ago.
On the displayed page, upload a firmware package from OBS or your local PC. Figure 3 Uploading the upgrade package - OBS file Figure 4 Uploading the upgrade package - Local file After the upgrade package is uploaded, configure package parameters and click OK.
If the software or firmware is stored in OBS, the values of event_type are as follows: firmware_upgrade_v2: firmware upgrade. software_upgrade_v2: software upgrade. event_time Optional String Explanation: Event time.

Shielding the format and protocol differences of data reported by devices from multiple PV device vendors, IoTDA uses rules to transfer data to OBS for storage and MRS for further data processing.
Obtain OTA Upgrade Package Details This API is used to query details about the upgrade package associated with an OBS object. Delete an OTA Upgrade Package This API is used to delete the upgrade package information associated with an OBS object.
Device file upload Devices can upload files to Object Storage Service (OBS) and request files from the cloud. For details, see File Uploads.
You can also refer to Forwarding Device Data to OBS for Long-Term Storage. Delivering MQTT Messages In this example, the Postman is used to deliver an instruction for starting the indoor air conditioner. Use the MQTT.fx simulator to subscribe to a custom topic.

You can upload a software/firmware upgrade package to the IoTDA platform or use a file associated with an object on OBS for device remote upgrades. Can the IoT Platform Download Software or Firmware Packages from Third-party Servers? No.
For long-term storage, you can transfer logs to Object Storage Service (OBS) buckets. For details, see Transferring Logs to OBS. LTS provides a free quota of 500 MB per month. By default, it continues to collect logs when the quota is used up.
