Billing Backups are saved as packages in OBS buckets. For the billing details, see How Is RDS Backup Data Billed? Method 1 Click in the upper left corner and select a region. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
Public services, such as Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS), Object Storage Service (OBS), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic IP (EIP), and Image Management Service (IMS), can all be shared within a given region.
When you enter the time point that you want to restore the DB instance to, RDS downloads the most recent full backup file from OBS to the DB instance. Then, incremental backups are also restored to the specified point in time on the DB instance.
Data Backup The system automatically backs up data every day and stores backup files as packages in Object Storage Service (OBS). The backup files can be stored for 732 days and can be restored with just a few clicks.
To download a backup, you can use OBS Browser+ or the download URL. For more information, see Downloading a Backup File. Log management RDS for SQL Server logging is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.
