EVS and OBS use distributed storage to prevent the impacts of hardware faults with a single disk, server, or rack. RDS provides automatic data backup as well as cross-AZ and cross-region data replication and switchover.
Simplify the function code package to accelerate download from Huawei Cloud OBS before calling the functions.
In Huawei Cloud, data is backed up to OBS to ensure high security. Related cloud services and tools Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR) Relational Database Service (RDS) Distributed Cache Service (DCS) Parent topic: RES02 Backup
The RDS database data is automatically backed up to OBS periodically to ensure that data can be quickly restored in the case of data loss. Parent topic: Reference Architecture
For services like dedicated ELB, CCE clusters, DMS, and OBS buckets that support cross-AZ HA instances but cannot be reconstructed to cross-AZ HA instances, apply for new cross-AZ HA instances to replace the single-AZ instances.
Do not set the OBS bucket where important service data is stored as a public or publicly readable bucket. Periodically check cloud service security configurations.
Logs can also be stored on OBS for quick access by DLI, supporting offline service computing and analysis. Parent topic: Examples
OBS is deployed across AZs in HA mode. If a single AZ is faulty, services are not affected. The RDS database data is automatically backed up in a scheduled manner to ensure data reliability.
OBS also supports cross-region bidirectional database replication. The data in RDS for MySQL and DDS databases is automatically backed up periodically to ensure data reliability. Parent topic: Reference Architecture
Data layer: GaussDB, DDS, and OBS are deployed across three AZs in HA mode. These distributed databases ensure consistent data among different AZs. If a single AZ is faulty, services are not affected and no data is lost.
Cloud Eye monitors metrics of IaaS services (such as ECS, EVS, OBS, VPC, ELB and AS), RDS databases, and high-availability middleware (such as DCS and DMS), and allows users to report custom metrics.
