About IOPS The IOPS supported by RDS for PostgreSQL depends on the I/O performance of Elastic Volume Service (EVS) disks. For details, see Disk Types and Performance in the Elastic Volume Service Service Overview.
Due to Elastic Volume Service (EVS) constraints, there can be a maximum of 10 EVS disks with their types being changed at the same time. You may have to wait in a queue when you change your storage type. Procedure Log in to the management console.
