An ECS with shared EVS disks cannot be backed up using CSBS. CSBS supports crash-consistent backup of EVS disks on an ECS but not application-consistent backup of them. CSBS does not support consistent backup of multiple ECSs.

You can also use a system disk backup to create an EVS disk. Disks created using system disk backups can only be used as data disks on servers. They cannot be used as system disks. Parent topic: Restoration
Quotas can limit the number resources available to users, such as the maximum number of ECS or EVS disks that can be created. If the existing resource quota cannot meet your service requirements, you can apply for a higher quota. How Do I View My Quotas?
Will My EVS Disk Be Unsubscribed from or Deleted When I Unsubscribe from or Delete Its Server? Will I Be Billed for the Disks in the Recycle Bin?
EVS volumes: Mount an EVS volume to a container path. When the container is migrated, the mounted EVS volume is migrated together. This storage class is applicable when data needs to be stored permanently. OBS volumes: Create OBS volumes and mount them to a container path.
Resilience RDS for SQL Server uses EVS disks to store data, providing three-copy storage and 99.9999999% data durability. It also provides features like cross-region replication and intra-AZ anti-affinity, to guarantee reliability and availability of your instances.
Choose Storage > Elastic Volume Service to go to the EVS console. Locate the row that contains the target disk and view the disk specifications, attributes, and billing mode.
To stop billing for ECSs and EVS disks, delete all ECSs in HomeZones. If you only stop your ECSs, they will still be billed. Please note that deleted ECSs cannot be recovered. Parent topic: Billing
It works based on the consistent snapshot technology for Elastic Volume Service (EVS) disks. With CSBS, you can use backup data to restore BMS data, ensuring data security and correctness. Constraints BMS backups cannot be used to create images.

Before you use the encryption function, EVS must be granted with the permission to access DEW. If you have the right to grant permissions, grant KMS access rights to EVS directly.
You only need to pay for the associated resources you used such as images, EIPs, EVS disks, and CBR. After an ECS is created, you can bind yearly/monthly EIPs, EVS disks, and CBR instances independently.
It uses the consistent backup data of multiple EVS disks to restore the service data of an ECS. CSBS ensures data security and service continuity. CSBS provides two consistent backup modes: application-consistent backup and crash-consistent backup.

Overview If the ECSs or EVS disks you purchased cannot meet your surging SAP business requirements, you can expand the resources on HUAWEI CLOUD. This document describes how to expand ECSs and EVS disks on HUAWEI CLOUD.
DSS Disks DSS disks are essentially dedicated EVS disks, which can be used as scalable block storage for servers.
For details about supported EVS metrics and how to create alarm rules, see Cloud Eye Monitoring. Parent topic: Security
For example, if an ECS or EVS disk is faulty or a misoperation causes data loss, you can use data backups to quickly restore data. This section describes how to back up ECSs and EVS disks. For more information, see CBR Architecture, Backup Mechanism, and Backup Options.
Specifically, use ECS or BMS for server computing resources, and EVS and SFS for storage. For the deployment solution design, refer to section Deployment Plan.
