EVS disks (including system disks and data disks) The billing mode of the system disks and data disks attached to a node cannot be changed on the EVS console. You need to change their billing modes together with the node on the CCE console.
You need to pay attention to the following: You will not be billed for the management of the cluster, but other cloud service resources like EVS disks and bandwidth in the cluster will still be billed in their own billing modes.
ECSs created on the DeH are free of charge, and you only need to pay for the associated resources you used such as images, EIPs, EVS disks, and Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR). For details, see Pay-per-Use Billing.
The EVS disks can be used as system disks from which the BMSs are booted.
Prerequisites Before restoring data, complete the following preparations: Back up data by referring to Creating an EVS Snapshot and Creating a Private Image to ensure that data can be restored to its original state if an error occurs during data restoration.
Alternatively, you can output logs to FlexVolume or persistent EVS or SFS volumes, and use a sidecar to run an open-source component such as Fluent Bit to report logs to your self-built log centers.
If the IAM users who will be added to this group need all SMS permissions, attach system-defined policies SMS FullAccess, OBS OperateAccess, ECS FullAccess, VPC FullAccess, and EVS FullAccess to the group. EVS KMSAccess must be attached if disk encryption is required.
If you select this mode to add ECSs, their associated resources, such as EIPs and EVS disks, will not be added. ECSs and ECS associated resources: Only ECSs need to be selected.
Block storage refers to EVS disks, which are block-based storage products and adopt a three-copy distributed mechanism. EVS disks provide high reliability, performance, and scalability. You can create or release them at any time.
After creating the ECS, you can view the tags on the pages providing details about the ECS, EIP, and EVS disks. Basics of Tags Tags are used to identify cloud resources.

Public services, such as Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS), Object Storage Service (OBS), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic IP (EIP), and Image Management Service (IMS), are shared within the same region.
For other cloud services you may also use when running UCS, such as Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Load Balance (ELB), SoftWare Repository for Container (SWR), and Domain Name Service (DNS), their quotas are independent
