You can use the following examples to learn how to query a specific trace: Use CTS to audit Elastic Volume Service (EVS) creation and deletion operations from the last two weeks. For details, see Security Auditing.
Cloud disk backup: Use this backup method if you want to back up the data of one or more EVS disks (system or data disk) attached to an ECS. This minimizes backup costs on the basis of data security.

Instance redeployment will not affect the instance's system disk and EVS data disks. For instances using local disks, all data stored on the local disks will be deleted after the instance redeployment.
Set boot_index to 0 and set the EVS disk corresponding to the snapshot to a system disk.
Ultra-high I/O ECSs can use local disks, and can also have EVS disks attached to provide a larger storage size. Note the following when using the two types of storage media: Only an EVS disk, not a local disk, can be used as the system disk of an ultra-high I/O ECS.

The EVS disk quota must be greater than 0. The system disk type cannot be changed. H2 ECSs do not support OS change. For details about the change between different OSs, see Notes on Change Between Windows and Linux.

Initializing an EVS data disk If you created a data disk when creating an ECS, initialize the data disk first before using it. For details, see Initializing Data Disks. Using an ECS After purchasing an ECS, you can build environments, websites, or applications on it.
