Can I Back Up and Restore My EVS Disk to a Different Region? EVS disks already attached to ECS support cross-region backup and restoration. Such disks can be backed up together with their ECS using CBR cloud server backup, which supports cross-region replication.

In the navigation pane, choose Elastic Volume Service > Disks. Click the name of the target EVS disk to go to its details page.
Scheduling EVS Disks Across AZs Using csi-disk-topology Background EVS disks cannot be attached to a node deployed in another AZ. For example, the EVS disks in AZ 1 cannot be attached to a node in AZ 2.

(Optional) Attach the EVS disk to an ECS. You are advised to mount EVS disks directly. After an EVS disk is mounted to an ECS, you need to log in to the ECS and initialize the EVS disk before using it. Select a billing mode.
