Procedure Sign in to the EVS console. Click the Recycle Bin tab. In the upper right corner of the Recycle Bin tab page, click Disable Recycle Bin. A dialog box is displayed. Click Yes. The recycle bin has been disabled. Parent Topic: Managing EVS Recycle Bin

(Optional) Attach the EVS disk to an ECS. You are advised to mount EVS disks directly. After an EVS disk is mounted to an ECS, you need to log in to the ECS and initialize the EVS disk before using it. Select a billing mode.

To expand the disk on the EVS console: Choose Storage > Elastic Volume Service to go to the EVS console. Locate the disk you want to expand and click Expand Capacity in the Operation column. On the Expand Capacity page, set New Capacity and click Next.

If the original capacity of an EVS disk is 4,096 GB, the disk capacity cannot be expanded. After the instance is stopped, the expanded capacity still takes effect. The billing is based on the expanded EVS disk capacity. An EVS disk is billed as long as it is used.
