Using the Storage How do I use EVS in a development environment? When creating a notebook instance, select a small-capacity EVS disk. You can scale out the disk as needed. For details, see Dynamically Expanding EVS Disk Capacity.
EVS disk If an EVS disk (a system disk or a data disk) is created along with a pay-per-use ECS, the EVS disk is also billed on a pay-per-use basis.

Buying a WAF instance (for Dedicated Cloud) Elastic Volume Service (EVS) The EVS ReadOnlyAccess system policy is required to query EVS disks you have.
Elastic Volume Service (EVS): You can purchase EVS disks or DSS disks as needed. EVS disks can be billed in pay-per-use or yearly/monthly mode. The system disks of ECSs in a DCC can only be billed in pay-per-use mode.
