If the BMS uses SDI storage cards (neither SDI 2.2 nor SDI 3.0), the SDI driver needs to be installed on the VM so that EVS disks can be attached to the BMS. In other cases, skip this section. Currently, ARM 64 VMs do not support SDI cards.
A BMS to be rebuilt must use an EVS disk as its system disk. Data on local disks cannot be migrated after a BMS is rebuilt. Prerequisites The BMS to be rebuilt must be stopped. The BMS to be rebuilt must have a system disk.
Currently, an EVS data disk supports up to 32 TB. Therefore, use the GPT partition style if your disk capacity is greater than 2 TB. If you change the disk partition style after the disk has been used, the original data on the disk will be cleared.
Check whether the subnet exists or whether it is in ACTIVE state. 400 BMS.0297 The submitted EVS disk order has not been paid. The EVS disk cannot be attached to or detached from the BMS. Fail to attach volume[%s]: volume is locked.
When using an EVS disk for the first time, if you have not initialized the disk, including creating partitions and file systems, the additional capacity added to the disk in a later expansion operation may not be normally used. Prerequisites You have logged in to the BMS.
For details, see EVS Disk. Configure the network. Figure 2 Network parameters Table 2 Network parameters Parameter Example Value Description Network vpc-default-smb Use the default VPC and subnet. For details, see VPC and Subnet Planning.
The value ranges from 10 to 32768. shareable No Boolean Specifies whether the disk is shareable. true: shared EVS disk false: common EVS disk The default value is false. cluster_id No String Specifies the ID of the storage pool to which BMS data disks belong.

The timestamp format is ISO 8601, for example, 2019-06-25T03:40:25.000000. os-extended-volumes:volumes_attached Array of objects Specifies EVS disks attached to the BMS.
