Enter the following query and click Run to query idle EVS disks. SELECT * FROM tracked_resources WHERE provider = 'evs' AND type = 'volumes' AND properties.status != 'in-use' On the Results area, click Export to export query results to a CSV or a JSON file.
Core cloud services include ECS, EVS, VPC, and EIP. These services allow you to use compute and storage resources on premises. You can also deploy applications from the KooGallery on the edge site to seamlessly extend the Huawei Cloud ecosystem to the edge (coming soon).
When you create a BMS that uses an EVS as its system disk, the OS has been installed on the disk and does not need to be downloaded or installed. In this way, the BMS can be provisioned within a short time when you apply for it.
What Are the Advanced Features of BMSs Using EVS Disks? Can I Transfer a BMS to Another Account? Is the BMS Host Name with Suffix novalocal Normal? Why Does the System Display a Message Indicating That the BMS Cannot Be Deleted? How Do I Monitor BMS Metrics?
Example: You purchased a monthly EVS disk on March 31, 2024, and the resource would expire on April 30, 2024. The grace period and retention period of yearly/monthly resources on Huawei Cloud (International) are both 15 days.
You have selected EVS storage when creating a notebook instance, and the storage is separately billed even after the notebook instance is stopped. In this case, delete the notebook instance. Parent topic: Billing FAQs
If EVS disks on an ECS have been associated with a VBS backup policy, disassociate them from the VBS backup policy. Otherwise, two backups are generated for each of the EVS disks. An ECS with shared EVS disks cannot be associated with a backup policy.
If you back up multiple EVS disks separately, the backup time points of the EVS disks are different. As a result, the backup data of the EVS disks is inconsistent.
This parameter is supported in microversion 2.3 and later. bootIndex String Specifies the EVS disk boot sequence. 0 indicates the system disk. Non-0 indicates a data disk. device String Specifies the drive letter of the EVS disk, which is the device name of the EVS disk.
If you unsubscribe from a FlexusL instance, all resources including the EVS disks, cloud backup vault, HSS, and EIP associated with the instance will be released and data cannot be recovered.
Encryption in EVS In case your services require encryption for the data stored on disks, KMS is integrated with Elastic Volume Service (EVS). You can use the key provided by KMS to encrypt the disk.
