Disk backup supports backing up EVS and DSS disks. This mode features low cost and is suitable for scenarios where important data disks need to be backed up. You can use the backup to create a new disk and attach it as a data disk to a server.
If a backup job is in the Failed or Timed out state, you can click Back Up Again in the Operation column to manually back up the EVS disk again. In the upper right corner of the list, you can select a state from the All statuses drop-down list to search for backup jobs.
How Can I Migrate Data Between SFS and EVS? Can I Directly Access SFS from On-premises Devices? How Do I Delete .nfs Files? Why My File System Used Space Increases After I Migrate from SFS Capacity-Oriented to SFS Turbo?
Storage migration In this phase, you will migrate the EVS disk data to the destination AZ. For details, see Storage Migration. Application backup In this phase, you will back up applications in the source AZ cluster.
For example, you can list all EVS disks that have not been attached to any ECS to avoid unnecessary expenditures. You can only use advanced queries to query, view, or export cloud resources. If you need to modify or delete resources, go to related service consoles.
The costs cover the cluster resources including CCE, ECS, and EVS resources.
Attach the created data disks to the ECS by referring to Attaching an EVS Disk to an ECS. Parent Topic: Migrating Servers Whose OSs Are Not Supported by SMS
