Changing pay-per-use to yearly/monthly: Cost Center helps you analyze the usage of your pay-per-use resources (such as ECS, EVS, RDS) and identify places where you can save money by changing the billing mode from pay-per-use to yearly/monthly.
Additionally, confirm that the source server can access the following cloud services via their domain names: SMS, IAM, ECS, EVS, VPC, and IMS. Data flow refers to data transmission from the source server to the target server.
You can also use a data disk image to create EVS disks and migrate your service data to the cloud. Full-ECS image: contains all the data of an ECS, including the data on the data disks attached to the ECS. A full-ECS image can be used to rapidly create ECSs with service data.
Solution 2: Expanding the disk capacity To expand a disk capacity, perform the following operations: Expand the capacity of a data disk on the EVS console. For details, see Expanding EVS Disk Capacity. Only the storage capacity of EVS disks can be expanded.
You can: Monitor resource usage and evaluate whether the current configuration is more than you need, for example, you can monitor the usage of CPUs, memory, EVS disks, and bandwidth. Identify idle resources, for example, there may be unattached EVS disks or unbound EIPs.
Instance redeployment will not affect the instance's system disk and EVS data disks. Instance redeployment will delete data from all local disks. To ensure data security, back up data before the redeployment.
Example: EVS Service Type Code (Child Resource) The service type code of a child resource (when the current cost is generated by resources attached to an ECS).

You can import the data disk image of a local server or a server provided by another cloud platform to IMS and then use the image to create an EVS disk.
Best Practices of SAP System Capacity Expansion This section describes how to expand ECSs and EVS disk capacity in the SAP systems.
The resources associated with the ECS, such as EVS disks (including system and data disks), EIPs, and bandwidth, are separately billed. Spot ECSs with local disks attached, FPGA-based ECSs, or bare metal ECSs The ECS will continue to be billed after it is stopped.

Changing the Billing Mode of a Node The billing modes of resources like EVS disks and EIPs used by pay-per-use nodes cannot be changed simultaneously. For details, see Pay-per-Use to Yearly/Monthly.
Enabling Auto-Renewal on the Renewals Page This method is suitable for all resources, including clusters, nodes, EVS disks, and EIPs. Go to the Renewals page. Customize the search criteria.
A BMS to be rebuilt must use an EVS disk as its system disk. Data on local disks cannot be migrated after a BMS is rebuilt. Prerequisites The BMS to be rebuilt must be stopped. The BMS to be rebuilt must have a system disk.
Currently, an EVS data disk supports up to 32 TB. Therefore, use the GPT partition style if your disk capacity is greater than 2 TB. If you change the disk partition style after the disk has been used, the original data on the disk will be cleared.
