You can use a data disk image to create EVS disks and use them to migrate your service data to the cloud. An ISO image is created from an external ISO image file. It is a special image that is not available on the ECS console.
You can import the data disk image of a local server or a server provided by another cloud platform to IMS and then use the image to create an EVS disk.
You can use EVS to attach disks when creating a notebook instance. If code is correct but the problem persists, submit a service ticket to get professional technical support. Parent topic: MoXing
When you purchase a composite product (for example, ECS + image + EVS), Huawei Cloud charges only the products provided by itself. You need to contact the third-party service provider for the payment details of its products. Savings include discounts and coupons.
A child resource takes the subordinate position among several associated resources, for example, an EVS system disk is a child resource of an ECS. Sub-resource ID Unique ID of a child resource for a cloud service.
The resources associated with the ECS, such as EVS disks (including system and data disks), EIPs, and bandwidth, are separately billed. Spot ECSs with local disks attached, FPGA-based ECSs, or bare metal ECSs The ECS will continue to be billed after it is stopped.

Cloud Backup and Recovery Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR) provides backup protection for EVS disks and ECSs, and uses backups to restore the EVS disks and ECSs.
Storage System disk type and size: General Purpose SSD | 40 GiB EVS disks provide storage capabilities for FlexusX instances, so you can configure EVS disks for your instances as needed.
CCE Autopilot can work with EVS, OBS, and SFS for persistent data storage. It also supports Kubernetes built-in storage types, such as emptyDir, secrets, and ConfigMaps.
Note: When a newly purchased EVS disk is attached to an ECS, the EVS disk is not necessarily an attached resource of the ECS. The precise information of the attached resources can only be accessed through Querying Customer's Yearly/Monthly Resources.
The options are as follows: bs: EVS disk nfs: SFS file system efs: SFS Turbo file system If this parameter is not specified, the PVC information of the bs type (EVS disk) in the current namespace is returned by default.
For details about how to create a snapshot, see Creating an EVS Snapshot in Elastic Volume Service User Guide. Backups and snapshots created for the ECS are used to restore data. If the specifications fail to be modified, you can use the backups or snapshots to restore data.
When EVS disk snapshots are used for backup, only EVS PVs are supported and the snapshot constraints apply (for example, cross-AZ restoration is not supported). The pricing is the same as EVS disk snapshots.
Notes and Constraints If you use a full-ECS image to create an ECS, the EVS disks associated with the full-ECS image do not support the function of creating disks from a data disk image.
For details, see Table 5. iops No Integer Specifies the IOPS configured for an EVS disk. This parameter is mandatory only when volume_type is set to GPSSD2 or ESSD2. NOTE: For details about IOPS of GPSSD2 and ESSD2 EVS disks, see Disk Types and Performance.
You can select one of the following keys: Default keys: After the KMS access permissions have been granted to EVS, the system automatically creates a default key and names it evs/default. Custom keys: You can choose an existing key or create a new one.

Options: Only evs (EVS disks), local (local disks), and system (system disks) are supported.
