If an ECS in an AZ is unhealthy, ELB can forward traffic to ECSs in other AZs, improving the fault tolerance of applications. Monitoring Using Cloud Eye, you can monitor ELB metrics such as the number of connections, bandwidth, and abnormal responses.
The costs cover the cluster resources including CCE, ECS, and EVS resources.
The frontend stateless application layer can be composed of ECS or CCE instances; while the backend typically uses RDS for MySQL, depending on the service type. There are also sometimes DDS databases and middleware such as DCS and Kafka.
Cost optimization evaluation for changing pay-per-use billing to yearly/monthly: Automatically identifies long-running resources (such as ECS, EVS, RDS, ELB, and SFS Turbo) and generates optimization recommendations and estimated savings for changing from pay-per-use to yearly/monthly
When the planned cluster nodes cannot allow workload scheduling, ECS resources are provided to support scheduling. Workload scaling and node scaling can work separately or together. For details, see Using HPA and CA for Auto Scaling of Workloads and Nodes.
The frontend stateless applications can use ECS or CCE (CCE is used as an example in this section), and the backend databases use RDS for MySQL to provide higher performance and availability.
The frontend stateless application layer can be composed of ECS or CCE instances (CCE is used as an example here) with ELB for load balancing; while the backend typically uses GaussDB for its high performance and reliability.
Cloud Eye monitors metrics of IaaS services (such as ECS, EVS, OBS, VPC, ELB and AS), RDS databases, and high-availability middleware (such as DCS and DMS), and allows users to report custom metrics.
