What Should I Do If the ECS and DDS Are Deployed in Different VPCs and They Cannot Communicate with Each Other? Change the VPC hosting the ECS to the same as that hosting the DDS by referring to Changing a VPC. Create a VPC peering connection.
How Do I Create and Log In to an ECS? For details on how to create and log in to an ECS, see Purchasing and Logging In to a Windows ECS and Purchasing and Logging In to a Linux ECS. The ECS to be created must be in the same VPC with the DDS DB instance to which it connects.
How Do I Back Up DDS Databases to an ECS? You can store DDS backup data on an ECS using mongoexport. However, you are not advised to use an ECS as backup space. For the best reliability and service assurance, store backups in Object Storage Service (OBS) buckets.

REMOTE_USER is the ECS OS user. REMOTE_ADDRESS is the ECS address. REMOTE_DIR is the directory of the ECS to which the exportfile.json.gz file is uploaded. In Windows, upload exportfile.json.gz to the ECS using file transfer tools.

Prerequisites For details about how to create and log in to an ECS, see Purchasing an ECS and Logging In to an ECS. Bind an EIP to the single node instance and configure security group rules to ensure that the EIP can be accessed from the ECS.
